Operation method
1. Blending ratio (by mass):
Bottled silver alloy powder: Mercury =0.6:0.7~0.8(20% of mercury will be extruded when filling) capsules according to the size of the repair hole, select the appropriate size of the capsule
2. Blending method:
Remove the capsule from the packaging
Press the capsule body and the capsule top to the end until the capsule isolation falls off, so that mercury is fully mixed with silver alloy powder
Put the pressed capsule on the silver mercury mixer clamp, select the appropriate blending frequency and time, recommend the vibration frequency of 4000-4500 times/minute blending time is 16-45 seconds, immediately blend the blended amalgam into a clean deerskin or white cloth wrapped slightly rub and squeeze. After extrusion of appropriate amount of mercury, clinical filling can be performed 15 minutes after the cavity filling is completed, the anatomical shape can be carved 24 hours after the filling is completed, and the grinding and polishing can be done to reach the mirror brightness
Matters needing attention
1. When using this capsule to blend, please make sure that the top cover is completely pressed down
2, the best clinical operating environment: room temperature 23±2C, relative humidity ≤60%
3, in clinical filling, the conventional bottom of the operation should be used
4. Deep caries should be filled with measures to protect the pulp bottom, which is not suitable for the root tip backfilling technology
5. Due to the large difference in vibration frequency of different types of silver-mercury mixers, doctors have different requirements for the handfeel degree of silver-mercury in clinical filling, so the blending time can be adjusted appropriately according to the specific situation
6, Waste amalgam should be properly disposed of, it is recommended to set up a special storage area, and comply with the requirements of relevant national laws and regulations
7, overflow: if handled incorrectly, mercury will cause harm to the body, the leaked mercury should be removed immediately, including the mercury in the corner that is difficult to clean, the use of plastic syringes to absorb the mercury, a small amount of mercury can be covered with sulfur powder and then removed to prevent the inhalation of mercury vapor
8, moisture pollution: If moisture is inhaled in mercury before mixing, strength and corrosion resistance may be affected. This alloy contains zinc, moisture pollution will cause excessive expansion of the prepared amalgam, should be kept dry during use.
