Product Description

   Electrosurgical Pencil is called Diathermy Pencil,Hand- pieces .
   It is one of the accessories used with the ESU. The energy released by the ESU,is concentrated at the tip of the electrode to produce high frequency and high voltage currents to heat the tissue ,so that separation and solidfication of the tissue can be achieved .
  ESU pencil is divided into push-button and foot control type .These two categories operation according to the control means.  These devices are divided into disposable and reusable. There are two buttons for the most commonly used ESU pencil .Of which the yellow controls the cutting, the blue controls the coagulation.

  This model is a disposable push-button ,standard pencil . It is a single use, sterile electrosurgical accessory intended to remove tissue and control bleeding by use of high-frequency electrical current.

Instruction for use:

1. Use aseptic technique when removing single use pencil pouch.

2. Check electrode connection for secure fit. If electrode is changed, ensure that the new electrode is fully inserted. Remove protective sleeve from electrode.

3. Plug pencil connector into the scoket of the electrosurgical unit on generator.

4. To active cut mode, depress(CUT)switch. To activate coag mode, depress(COAG)switch. Ensure that generator responds correctly.
