- Gently advance the catheter into the bladder until urine flow is observed.
- Insert 3 cm furtherto ensure the retention balloon is fully inside the bladder.
3.Balloon Inflation - Inflate with the prescribed volume of **sterile distilled water or physiological saline** using a needle-free syringe.
4.Deflation
- Cut the inflation funnel above the valve or use a needle-free syringe to push into the valve for drainage.
